Rich and Decadent: Halibut Rolls in Creamy Sauce by 맛이쏘~굿!

Our second dish with @nordichalibut is halibut rolls in a creamy spinach sauce, you can think of this as a creamy spinach halibut stew, but two things I have changed here is that I made roll instead of chunk of halibut and steamed it instead of cooking on pan. So there was pros and cons, because we steamed it, the halibut was very soft and moist, they still had the nice fattiness from the filet, but the cream sauce got a bit watery. This was a rich, creamy, and decadent dish but without any of the guilt since this dish is low calories and very nutritious! ✔️ Ingredients (serving for 2) – 24ea Halibut thin slices – 6ea Asparagus (butter fried then cut in half) – 6ea Cherry tomatos (whole) – 60g Shimeji mushrooms (Rip in pieces) – 250ml Spinach cream sauce ** 🥣 How to make 1. First, you will need to make spinach cream sauce**. We followed one of recipes and it told us to add water to blend, made it spinach juice instead of puree. So as you see from the picture, sauce didn’t turn out as green as it should be. Anyway, follow our recipe below and make spinach cream sauce. 2. Peel off the bottom side of asparagus then fry in pen with butter. Cut in half when it is cooked. 3. Roll asparagus with 3~4 thin sliced(like when you make sushi) halibut and hold it in roll shape with toothpicks. 4. In spinach cream sauce, add halibut rolls, tomatoes, shimeji mushrooms then cook with lid on until halibut is fully cooked. 5. Remove toothpicks then starve. ** Spinach Cream Sauce – 100g Spinach – 4 Cloves of Garlic (minced) – 200ml Heavy Cream – 60g Mushrooms (sliced) – Salt and Pepper to taste 1. Blend the Spinach into a puree using a blender or food processor. 2. In a medium sauce pan heat 2 Tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat and add the garlic, cook for about 30 seconds. 3. Add the Spinach puree and saute for 2-3 minutes, or until the raw spinach smell goes away. 4. Then add the cream, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the sauce starts to become thick. When you stir it you should start to see the bottom of the pan a little bit. #halibut #halibutstew #halibutroll #spinachcreamsauce #nordichalibut #fishlover #광어 #광어찜 #광어롤 #광어스튜
